Trey Kelley and Cedartown Police Chief Jamie Newsome have so far gone unanswered by both men after news came out about their involvement in the hit and run death last September of Eric Keais.
The Standard Journal reached out to both Kelley and Newsome asking if they had made any decisions over calls for their resignation and received no reply back from either in recent days.
Local and Atlanta media have reported on the involvement of Kelley and Newsome in a hit-and-run wreck that took the life of Keais on the night of Sept. He said in a previous statement that his office has the case under review and plans to present it to a grand jury.
Kelley and Newsome became involved after reports stated that Kelley received a call from Dover minutes after he was alleged to have struck Keais on the bicycle, and Kelley himself stated he went down to the scene to determine what happened and called Newsome for assistance personally rather than call Newsome then called an officer on the phone to check the area around Dollar General Market instead of requesting help over the radio or via News reports have listed several State House members, State Sen.

At any other time, the futures contract has a fair value relative to the index, which reflects the expected dividends forgone (a deduction from the index value) and the financing cost for the difference between the initial margin and the principal amount of the contract (an addition) between the trade date and expiration.
When interest rates are low, the dividend adjustment outweighs the financing cost, so fair value for index futures is typically lower than the index value. Whenever the index futures price moves away from fair value, it creates a trading opportunity called index arbitrage.
As soon as the index futures price premium, or discount to fair value, covers their transaction costs (clearing, settlement, commissions and expected market impact) plus a small profit margin, the computers jump in, either selling index futures and buying the underlying stocks if futures trade at a premium, or the reverse if futures trade at a discount. Index Futures Trading Hours Index arbitrage keeps the index futures price close to fair value, but only when both index futures and the underlying stocks are trading at the same time.
Liquidity in index futures drops outside stock exchange trading hours because the index arbitrage players can no longer ply their trade. If the futures price gets out of whack, they cannot hedge an index futures purchase or sale through an offsetting sale or purchase of the underlying stocks. But other market participants are still active.
Index Futures Predict the Opening Direction Suppose good news comes out abroad overnight - the ECB cuts interest rates, or China reports stronger than expected growth in GDP. The local equity markets will probably rise, and investors may anticipate a stronger U. If they buy index futures, the price will go up. And with index arbitrageurs on the sidelines until the U.
As soon as New York opens, though, the index arbitrageurs will execute whatever trades are needed to bring the index futures price back in line - in this example, by buying the component stocks and selling index futures. Investors cannot just check whether the futures price is above or below its closing value on the previous day, though. The dividend adjustments to index futures fair value change overnight (they are constant during each day), and the indicated market direction depends on the price of index futures relative to fair value regardless of the preceding close.
On a day when several big index constituents go ex-dividend, index futures may trade above the prior close but still imply a lower opening. Trading is typically volatile at the opening, which accounts for a disproportionate amount of total trading volume. If an institutional investor weighs in with a large buy or sell program in multiple stocks, the market impact can overwhelm whatever price movement the index futures indicate.
Institutional traders do watch futures prices, of course, but the bigger the orders they have to execute, the less important the index futures direction signal becomes.
Late openings can also disrupt index arbitrage activity. The team that runs the ball more effectively with the fewest mistakes is almost certainly going to win. However, the passing game, which seems to matter less to these two teams than any other pair in the nation, may have something to say.
The passing game can't be an afterthought for either team. If Army can complete two or three passes in this game, it could give them the opportunity to stretch their winning streak in the series to two games.
However, If Abey throws one or two TD passes that result in quick scores, that could turn things in Navy's direction.
Navy has had a problem with fumbling, tying for 83rd in lost fumbles, while Army ranks tied for sixth in that category. That will give Army the win in this low-scoring game that will stay under the 44. How this works: This forecast is based on 100,000 simulations of the season and updates after every game. American author, inventor and futurist Raymond Kurzweil has become well known for his predictions about artificial intelligence and the human species, mainly concerning the technological singularity.
He predicts that Artificial Intelligence would outsmart the human brain in computational capabilities by mid-21st century.
His first book, The Age of Intelligent Machines, published in 1990, put forth his theories on the results of the increasing use of technology and predicted the explosive growth in the internet, among other predictions. Later works, 1999's The Age of Spiritual Machines and 2005's The Singularity is Near outlined other theories including the rise of clouds of nano-robots (nanobots) called foglets and the development of Human Body 2.

Kurzweil's first book, The Age of Intelligent Machines was published in 1990. It forecast the demise of the Soviet Union due to new technologies such as cellular phones and fax machines disempowering authoritarian governments by removing state control over the flow of information. He also stated that the Internet would explode not only in the number of users but in content as well, eventually granting users access "to international networks of libraries, data bases, and information services".
The third and final section of the book is devoted to elucidating the specific course of technological advancements Kurzweil believes the world will experience over the next century.

Titled "To Face the Future", the section is divided into four chapters respectively named "2009", "2019", "2029", and "2099". For every chapter, Kurzweil issues predictions about what life and technology will be like in that year. The device was portable, but not the cheap, pocket-sized device of the prediction. While this book focuses on the future of technology and the human race as The Age of Intelligent Machines and The Age of Spiritual Machines did, Kurzweil makes very few concrete, short-term predictions in The Singularity Is Near, though longer-term visions abound.
Kurzweil predicted that, in 2005, supercomputers with the computational capacities to simulate protein folding will be introduced. In 2010, a supercomputer simulated protein folding for a very small protein at an atomic level over a period of a millisecond. The protein folded and unfolded, with the results closely matching experimental data. Chess Champion and International Grandmaster Larry Christiansen in a four-game match. Another 3 are partially correct, 2 look like they are about 10 years off, and 1, which was tongue in cheek anyway, was just wrong.
Kurzweil said in a 2006 C-SPAN2 interview that "nanotechnology-based" flying cars would be available in 20 years.
Kurzweil believes, by the end of the 2020s, humans will be able to completely replace fossil fuels. In the cover article of the December 2010 issue of IEEE Spectrum, John Rennie criticized Kurzweil's predictions: "On close examination, his clearest and most successful predictions often lack originality or profundity.
And most of his predictions come with so many loopholes that they border on the unfalsifiable. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page. Please help by adding reliable sources.
